Making Camp Affordable

Eden Village is committed to making camp affordable for as many campers as possible. Our goal is to make camp work for your family. Camperships (our term for camp financial aid) provide assistance to families for whom payment of full tuition is not possible. The amount awarded is determined on the basis of need, as well as the availability of Campership funds. Our Campership Committee strives to make the process as easy, confidential, and fair as possible.

Campership Process

  1. To apply, first register for camp and pay the $500 registration deposit.
  2. After you have registered for camp, fill out the Campership Application that is available in your online CampInTouch account. You will be asked to upload tax returns as part of your Campership Application. Note: Campership Applications will only be considered after we receive your $500 registration deposit, which is fully refundable if we are not able to provide enough aid. If this deposit amount poses an obstacle, call us at 510-560-5610.
  3. Once your completed Campership Application has been submitted, our confidential Campership Committee will review your application. We will notify applicants of the amount of Campership funds awarded within 3 weeks. We review applications on a rolling basis.
  4. If you do not receive enough financial assistance to enable your family to attend camp, let us know within 3 weeks and you will receive a 100% refund of all fees paid, including your deposit.
